Personal Injury Litigation Manager/Coordinator & Paralegal

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Litigation Manager & Coordinator for a leading personal injury law firm in Denton, Texas. A Paralegal degree/certificate is not required, but candidate must have at least 5 years experience managing personal injury cases in litigation. We are an AV-Rated Preeminent Personal Injury law firm focused on highly effective representation in serious cases. We are NOT a high-volume "mill" firm. At any one time, our litigation paralegal will oversee no more than 50 active litigation cases. You will also have the close support of our entire team, including dedicated legal assistants. Our firm is run differently than many "big city" law firms whose primary concern is the number of cases being processed and closed. We focus on providing highly-effective, focused representation to fewer clients with more serious cases. We utilize Needles case management software which allows for extremely effective and detailed case management. Training for the software is provided.

Responsibilities:
• Organize and maintain case files and track deadlines
• Communicate with process servers, clients, opposing counsel, courts, police officers, witnesses and experts
• Draft and eFile petitions, coordinate service of process, manage discovery requests and responses, draft and file pleadings, motions, affidavits, subpoenas, etc
• Draft, serve and manage all Discovery requests and responses.
• Calendar and schedule depositions, mediations, hearings and trials
• Communicate with OC and staff regarding scheduling
• Assist in trial preparation including exhibits, evidence prep, and notebooks
• Assist attorneys and team with all other matters related to litigation

Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years Personal Injury Litigation management experience
• Ability to maintain and manage multiple litigation files in an efficient manner
• Ability to create, manage and meet deadlines
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Excellent Written, Oral and Grammatical Skills
• Excellent Organizational Skills
• Must be fully functional in operating all standard office programs: Office/Word/Excel/Adobe and Microsoft 365
• Must be fully functional in all aspects of eFiling
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment

PAY
$50,000 – $85,000
Compensation and benefits is negotiable and will ultimately be based upon the individual candidate's experience and qualification.
