DENTON COUNTY BAR ASSOCIATION TRANSITIONS TO PRACTICE MENTORING PROJECT 2012-2013

The Denton County Bar Association is sponsoring a Transitions to Practice Mentoring Project which will begin in September 2012 and run for a nine-month period. Monthly activities will include group meetings with speakers discussing areas of interest to new attorneys or those transitioning into solo or small firm practice, Denton County District and County Court visits with local judges to discuss appointment lists, local rules, and courtroom decorum, and one-on-one mentor/mentee informal get togethers.

Dates and details will be available in late August. Sign ups for those interested in serving as a mentor or participating as a mentee will be provided at the August 3, 2012 DCBA Monthly Luncheon or interested parties may contact Virginia Moore at vam@vamlawfirm.com. Deadline for 2012-2013 participation is August 31, 2012.
